Giving a Voice to
Michigan's Soybean Industry

Paying the checkoff does not make you a member of the Michigan Soybean Association.

The nine director board is nominated from committee and voted on at the Annual Meeting of Members. To qualify as a board member you must be an active member of the Michigan Soybean Association, reside in Michigan, and a soybean producer that had a value at first point-of-sale of more than $800.00 in any one growing season within the last three years.

A Director may serve three consecutive three year terms. However, after a Director has been off the Board for one full year, the Director may be reelected for no more than three consecutive three year terms.

Each Director represents a specific MSA Program Area.
