Giving a Voice to
Michigan's Soybean Industry

Paying the checkoff does not make you a member of the Michigan Soybean Association.

YOU Can Make A Difference!

Joining the Michigan Soybean Association (MSA) is one of the best things you can do to help ensure soybean profitability and preserve farming for the generations to come.

When you join MSA, you are represented in Lansing and in Washington D.C.

If you want a voice in policies that affect your profitability as a soybean farmer, then you should belong to the MSA and the American Soybean Association (ASA). With one check, you join both organizations — and you make the voice of soybean farmers even stronger.

MSA and ASA are working for the soybean farmers at the state, national, and international level on political issues of interest and benefit for you. By law, the soybean checkoff cannot do the legislative and lobbying type of work that some soybean issues require. That’s what these associations are for.

It is the MSA and the ASA that fight for soybean farmers on issues such as soy biodiesel legislation, the energy bill, the transportation bill, and animal care legislation.

Your soybean associations can make a difference because of hard work and strength in membership numbers! The facts are clear. YOU can make a difference by joining the soybean association!
