District 6
District 6 is located in mid-Michigan and has the following counties: Clinton, Genesee, Ionia, and Shiawassee.
The grower representative is George Zmitko from Owosso, Michigan in Shiawassee County. George has been on the board since 2005 and serves as Board Secretary.
George farms an 8,000 third generation farm with his son. They raise corn, oats, soybeans, wheat, and barley. They also raise seed for soybeans, wheat, barley, and June clover. He also has brood cows and finished cattle.
George serves on the FSA office, the Township Board of Appeals, and is Chairman for the Land Preservation Committee.
