District 2

District 2  is located in south central lower Michigan and includes the following counties: Calhoun, Eaton, Hillsdale, Ingham and Jackson.

The grower representative is Pete Crawford from Dansville, Michigan in Ingham County. Pete is owner of Crawford Farms, which he started in 1984. Pete farms 2,500 acres with his wife, son, daughter, son-in-law and cousin. They plant corn, soybeans and wheat.

Pete has been a seed dealer for Great Lakes Hybrids/LG Seeds for 30 years, a certified crop adviser and certified seed grower for Great Lakes and DF Seeds.

Pete has served on the Michigan Soybean Association, American Soybean Association, Ingham County Farm Bureau and served as Michigan ASA/DuPont Young Leader in 1987.

Pete is currently serving as the secretary/treasurer.
