​District 3 is located in the southeast corner of Michigan and includes the following counties: Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, Washtenaw and Wayne.

The grower representative is Laurie Isley from Palmyra, Michigan in Lenawee County. Laurie is the owner of Sunrise Farms, Inc. and is a third generation farmer. Laurie and her husband James farm 1,000 acres of corn and soybeans. She received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Agriculture and Natural Resources and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.

Laurie was active in 4-H, FFA, and  Michigan Farm Bureau’s Promotion and Education Committee for six years.  She currently serves as Lenawee County Farm Bureau president.

Laurie is currently the MSPC president.
