HARVEST DEMONSTRATION (Sep 23, 2015)Preventing soybean losses at harvest was the goal of a Soybean Harvest Equipment Field Day held Sept. 18, 2015, in Lenawee County by the Michigan Soybean Promotion Committee and Michigan State University Extension (MSUE).
HERBICIDE RESISTANT WEEDS (October 2015) Herbicide resistant weeds are taking over more fields every year in Michigan. Marestail, Palmer amaranth, waterhemp and ragweed are the bad actors today, but that list keeps growing. Also growing is the list of herbicides that the weeds are resistant to. These include Triazines, ALS and glyphosate (some weeds have multiple resistance).
